DIY Railing Project

Today Cole and his dad Curt are going to be building a wall...
where this railing now exists.
We are building the wall to make our home safer for Caleb as he becomes more and more mobile...
and will likely be learning to crawl very soon!

After photos to follow.

Thanks Grandpa Curt and Cole! :)

Two Little Teeth

It had been impossible...until now...
to get a photo of Caleb's two teeth...
he has had for a month now.
He likes to cover them with his tongue...

...like this. :)

But after thinking about it...
long and hard...

Caleb decided to show the camera...
...his two little teeth.
Can you see them?

From Above

Every good and perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights,
who does not change like shifting shadows.

He chose to give us birth through the word of truth,
that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

James 1:17-18

Gimme gimme...

Caleb is at the stage...
where he wants...
e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g
and
all things
that are grown up things.
Such as...
cameras,
remote controls,
cell phones,
space heaters,
glasses,
etc...
And he gets looks of desperation when trying to get them.
It's so cute. :)

Playin' in the grass...

This was Caleb's first time playing...
in the grass!

This kept him busy for a good while...
he pulled handful after handful out.

He then made sure to examine each piece of grass...
very carefully.  I was very surprised he didn't try to eat it.
Oh gee golly...grass is such fun!

Easter

we had a very blessed Easter weekend...
filled with family...
allergen free Easter dinner...
and a lot of starburst jelly beans :)

Caleb's Grandpa Curt and Grandma Beth (Cole's parents) came Easter Sunday...
we had lunch together and then went for a walk at Holmes Lake.

Cole and Caleb before Easter service...

Me and my baby boy :)

I pray Caleb knows his Savior, even now...
that He lives and reigns.
We are so blessed to know truth and that Jesus Christ is the risen Lord.
We are ever thankful for His salvation and the life He gives us.

Caleb is a big boy...

at a young 8 months Caleb weighs nearly 22 lbs and is close to 30 inches...

and his Chicco car seat height limit is 30 inches.

Thus, we are in the market for a new car seat.

I would LOVE any recommendations!

I am looking for a convertible car seat that is...

1. SAFE
2. Easy to use

Thanks for your help!
